Dear Friends,
Happy Birthdays Jessica and Lisa!
Last Tuesday, we celebrated Jessica Kissane's 50th birthday and Lisa Butcher's 48th birthday! These two creatively sophisticated “Mesdames” have celebrated their birthday together for the past few years. First they showed up in 90s Hip Hop gear, then a “Choose-Your-Own-Barbie” theme, and this year it was “Lisa and Jessica in Paris!”
Everyone looked amazing in black, white and red, and our birthday gals brought red berets and scarves for everyone! In addition, Karin Conn topped off the ultimate hilarious final touch… mustaches for all! Thank you also to Erin Meyers and Sara Rainbolt for decorating with an Eiffel Tower backdrop and balloons!
We danced for 75 minutes to their favorite songs and finished class with a French-themed community potluck up on the hill (thank you Sacha Brandes for the suggestion)! Thank you to everyone who brought a treat to share and was able to make it to class last Tuesday!
Joie de Vivre!

Dance for Humanity
Join us tomorrow and dance out your nerves on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5th, at 9:30am @UUMarin for an all-female music artist Stop Drop and Dance playlist in support of Kamala Harris! Wear blue!
Just as I rooted for my daughters' soccer team this past weekend and the other parents rooted for their kids, we have the right to disagree on calls the referee makes (or doesn't make). But we do so respectfully, without threats, violence, bribes, abuse of power, or fear.
This election, speaking for myself, is not between Republicans and Democrats. For me, this election is about standing up for humanity.
Tomorrow, I will be dancing in support of human decency, respect towards others, truthful words and honorable acts, equality for all, compassion and understanding, and love, not fear, to unite us as a country.
"We are not going back!"
(Thank you Tanya Burdick for capturing this photo and sign!)
Love,
Grace
