Classes back in session tomorrow!
I flew home on Saturday and I was so glad to bring back some of the 75 degree Cabo weather with me! You're welcome! It's always hard returning home after a relaxing vacation filled with no stress, no agenda, and no cooking or cleaning =) But it is also so wonderful to sleep in my own bed and of course, a major highlight is I am grateful to dance with all of you tomorrow, Tuesday, April 15th at 9:30am at UUMarin!
As a reminder, classes are cancelled Saturday, April 26th to Saturday, May 3rd for our PWG retreat to Bali!
Thank you for your understanding when regular classes are cancelled. Remember that all our classes are recorded and available on-demand when I am out of town (unlimited access to on-demand classes is included in our PWG Membership!).
Beginning in May, our Saturday venue is TBD week-to-week so PLEASE check the calendar or website before coming!
As many of you know, since Covid we have moved class over the past 5 years from only Zoom classes, to hybrid online and in-person venues at: my own garage and deck, a parking lot where Pelo Fitness used to be, a parking garage at Thorndale Drive, and a sprinkle of other venues such as Elks Lodge in San Rafael and the Fairfax Community Church.
UUMarin has been our perfect dancing home in the recent years with tall ceilings, bright natural light, views of Marin, windows and doors that can ventilate, heater option, strong wi-fi, bathroom access, plentiful parking, 2000+ sq ft of open space, wood floors, reasonable rent costs, and no neighbor noise complaints!
We will stay at UUMarin for the weekday classes, but we need help looking for a new venue just for our Saturday classes.
Unfortunately, with the UUMarin remodel almost complete, the church will be prioritizing rentals for weddings or larger special events on Saturdays. As of now, our temporary solution *might* be: if there is no other rental 30 days in advance, they will let me use the space. However, that is not a great long-term solution, so I am trying to find another Saturday venue we can count on weekly. If you have any ideas (essential requirements: 2000 sq ft, wi-fi, plenty of parking, no noise complaints, and reasonable rent), please email me!
