December 30, 2024

Dear Friends,

It's the FINAL WEEK to get a
FREE SHIRT for the Dance-a-thon!

Our 4th Stop Drop and Dance-a-thon is happening in just over ONE month on Sunday, February 2nd from 4-7pm! If you have not bought your ticket yet, now is the time to do it!

We will be including our NEW 2025 matching shirts for FREE for everyone who signs up before January 5th!

(Afterwards, shirts can be purchased for $28 in addition to the ticket price, however last time we sold out!)

In addition, we will start making the backup dancer lists for our 45 songs, so only dancers who buy a ticket by January 5th will be contacted!

For those of you that may feel the dance-a-thon may be a bit scary or intimidating...

you will be surrounded by positive, encouraging, joyful dancers,

we will cross the finish line of 45 dances TOGETHER,

and YES, YOU CAN DO IT!

Set one of your 2025 New Years Resolutions to accomplish the Stop Drop and DANCE-A-THON!

Join us tomorrow, Tuesday, December 31st at 9:30am for a 75 minute Stop Drop and Dance class at UU Marin (240 Channing Way, San Rafael)!

We will be dancing to a playlist of all the songs that we choreographed and added to our Stop Drop and Dance collection this year in 2024, such as "The Sound of Sunshine," "The Man," "APT," "Birds of a Feather," or "Texas Hold 'Em."

Invite a friend and come join us in your black and gold clothing!

Thank you to everyone who pitched in for my holiday gift including this cute tank and hoodie!

"There are friends,
there is family,
and there are friends
that become family."

We say goodbye to another year and it's ironic because I am intentionally in this life phase of choosing the philosophy that less is more.
I value time.
I value balance.
I value quality over quantity.

And a big part of our lives, that is really actually important, is health.
Physical health.
Exercising.
Mental stimulation.
Emotional support.
A healthy soul.

So even though I'm actually "going out" or "hanging out" less,
I'm actually spending time with many of YOU, more.

Our regular and consistent priority to taking care of our health matters beyond the calories burned or step count.
It's who you stand next to.
It's who you parked and walked in with.
It's who you made eye contact with.

What begins as on-the-surface-hellos do indeed magically turn into meaningful conversations or daily struggles or little glimpses into someone's life.

Extend your hand.
Ask a question.
Listen to someone.
Or share what's on YOUR heart.
Let magic happen.

That's how we turn less into so much more.

Happy New Year to my friends who have become family!

Love,
Grace
