All Classes Resume This Tuesday @ UUMarin!

July 16, 2024

July 14, 2024

Dear Friends,

Pardon the Construction!

Starting this Tuesday, July 16th, all our classes including SATURDAYS will be at UUMarin at 9:30am (240 Channing Way in San Rafael)!  Weekday classes will be the same 75 minute structure and Saturdays will be only 60 minutes of Stop Drop and Dance.

Just a heads up that UUMarin will be doing a major renovation around its entry and campus grounds for the next year.

The Fellowship Hall where we dance, is not being renovated, however there will be some inconveniences around us, including noisier sounds, construction paths, and different bathrooms to use.  Thank you for your understanding!

Back to Cali!

I just returned today from a truly epic heritage trip to China with my parents and sisters' family.  It is so rare for the 10 of us to be able to coordinate schedules and travel internationally together, so we cherished each moment!

It was a non-stop, jam-packed trip with 20,000 sweaty steps everyday as we experienced everything from modern city life in Shanghai, to nature's beauty in the Zhang Jia Jie national park that inspired Avatar, to witnessing playful pandas in Chengdu, to learning about the history and culture of China in Beijing.  Sprinkled in every city was a lot of delicious food and desserts!

Even though it was a full two weeks, it still felt too short and I could have kept exploring.  One of my favorite parts about traveling was being able to turn my brain off and go with the flow, and it was also liberating to barely have any internet access or social media.  I return back to California with an even greater heart of appreciation for the beauty and gifts of life.

Excited to see you soon!
