As much as Grace loves jumping and sweating and lifting weights, she knows that yoga is the best form of exercise for her body, especially in the long term.  Yoga strengthens not only our body, but also our mind, teaching us to be calm in all situations, to try out best, to believe in the impossible, and to have some self-compassion especially when we struggle or fail.

Note: Grace chose this song because so many times after introducing herself as a little girl, someone would say, “Oh like Amazing Grace?” and they would start singing. The song has a special place in Grace’s heart because although she’s known the lyrics for so long, she didn’t really understand the deeper meaning behind the words until 20 years later. Grace is far far far from “amazing,” but she does appreciate and is grateful for God’s wonderful and amazing graces in her life – giving her second, third, hundred chances, loving her when she didn’t love herself, helping her find a purposeful life, and guiding her day by day. This routine is a blend of everything Grace loves: yoga, dance, choreography, music, and God. Thanks for watching!

      1. I know. When I first started 5 years ago I couldn’t touch my toes. It’s been more confidence than strength when doing inversions but I’ve been lucky enough to have some awesome, patient teachers 😀

  1. So inspiring to watch! Headstands and inversions generally had me wobbling all over the place for so long! Now it’s about finding that space for calm whilst my body re-aligns to the new upside down normal…
