Thank you for raising $10,826!

Wow you guys! Two years ago Lynne Yuster held a Stop Drop and Dance fundraiser for Boarding for Breast Cancer and reached her goal of $10,000. This year, we did it again!!!

We raised $10,826 for Lynne's fundraiser for the Sister to Sister Breast Health Program!

Thank you to all the donors who generously gave to Lynne’s breast cancer fundraiser and showed up in-person or on zoom last Saturday to DANCE with her whole family, including her husband Jeremy, son Ross and daughter Coco, who danced up front with their friends almost the entire class!

Lynne brought balloons for decorations, cute favor bags with pink chapstick and chocolate, and strawberry bundtlets for everyone to enjoy after dancing.

Despite still being in a parking garage on Saturdays, what matters more is the magical energy, love and impact that has been generated in this unconventional venue over the past 4 years.

You are an incredible community making a real difference!

Listen to Lynne's emotional story and why she chose the Sister to Sister Breast Health Program!

Happy 50th Birthday Alison Williams!

Last Thursday we had such an amazing turnout of dancers dressed in floral workout clothing to celebrate Alison Williams! Ali danced up front the whole time, from her very first Stop Drop and Dance routine, “Can’t Stop The Feeling,” to “I Am Here” showing up 50 years strong!!!

Thank you to Ali for bringing in flower clips for everyone, to Shel Saxon and Aimee Foreman for setting up and decorating a table of flowers and goodies, to Lisa Butcher for bringing beautiful Baked Blooms cupcakes, to Erin Meyers bringing light up crowns and using flower leis to create a “Happy 50” in our backdrop, and everyone else that showed up to dance together and make Ali’s birthday extra special.

Thank you so much everyone for celebrating Ali!

"When we give ourselves over completely to the spirit of the dance, it becomes a prayer."
- Gabrielle Roth

When dancing becomes a prayer...
the movements no longer matter
it is the heart that opens
the mind that clears
a soul and spirit lifted
because everything shines
from inside to out
and it looks and sounds like
a whisper
a sigh
a tear
a cry
but invisible to the eye
is the leap of faith
a trust
a hope
a plead
that everything will be ok
because we are not alone
and we will overcome
and kindness will prevail
and joy will emerge
and love will win
always

Happy International Dance Day, friends!

Love,
Grace
